AV Technology has been supplying retro-fit Silo-Weigh solutions since 1996 and throughout that time has continued to develop retro-fit technology in order to offer the most accurate, reliable and cost effective products available on the market.

The systems are ideal for weighing applications where fitting standard load cells is either not possible or not cost effective. It is also suitable for applications where traditional level measuring techniques do not give satisfactory results.

AVT's Silo-Weigh system uses specially developed "low-strain" techniques to accurately measure strain levels in existing silo supports with an overall system accuracy of typically 1% to 5% of full scale. It has been used successfully on multiple silo installations on integrated support structures where load cross-talk traditionally causes problems.

Now available in ‘self-install’ kit form, the new Easy-Weigh version offers an even more cost effective option without compromising Silo-Weigh’s proven best-in-class accuracy.
